How to order books and articles

At the Science Library (UBBRB) most of the collections are intended for self service. Users are expected to find books on the shelves and have them registered  at the circulation desk. Journals are as a rule not for loan - users are expected to find a  journal, make photocopies of the articles wanted, and return the journal to its proper location on the shelves.

Documents from branches of the Bergen University Library or other external libraries may be ordered online through our catalogue; BIBSYS.

Borrowing books is free of charge. This includes books received through interlibrary loan. The interlibrary loan service is primarily intended for students and staff, for study and research purposes.
