Dear Colleague,

As anticipated during our last meeting in Vienna, I am pleased to confirm

that the Italian National Research Council - CNR is ready to host the next

Platform Meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for June, 21-22. in Rome and will be dedicated to

one specific topic:

"CRIS as a tool for statistic evaluation of scientific activities"

We plan to arrange the meeting in two parts:

1. Contributions from EuroCris (and EuroCris related) members on practical

experiences on using Cris for evaluation of big institutions, projects,

institutes or people;

2. Discussion (brainstorming) on how to improve and/or introduce the use of

CRIS for evaluation purposes.

Before to officially call the meeting we prefer to check in advance if you

are interested in the subject and if you will be able to attend the

meeting. For this reason I'm asking you to contact me as soon as possible

at the address below to inform me if you:

1. are interested in the subject

2. will be able to attend the meeting

3. are willing to present a contribution for Part 1.

Please extend this invitation to collegues who, working in this field,

could give intersting contributions.

We believe that the participation of at least 5 organisations from 4-5

different countries is the minimum, required to ensure a successful meeting.

Within the end of next week I will inform you whether we have collected

enough adhesions to confirm the meeting.
